xThe winner is a team of three students from the macromedia University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, who are rethinking the topic of secondhand with their project SELLPY x ALEXA. A sustainability production is planned in cooperation with the second-hand portal Sellpy. The special thing about it: The students were able to win over the largest Swedish second-hand online retailer, which has also been on the market as an online store in Germany since 2020, to present itself offline at the point of sale for the first time. At ALEXA - where else! And who knows: it wouldn't be the first e-commerce platform to open its first offline store here.
Students from the AMD Academy of Fashion & Design, Deutsche Pop and macromedia University of Applied Sciences had created and submitted numerous extremely creative and exciting concepts for the First Store Vol. 4 retail competition in the summer semester of 2022. In the final jury session in mid-September, five finalists were allowed to present their concepts live in front of a top-class jury of various industry experts. The expert jury evaluated the concepts according to their degree of innovation, economic sustainability and creativity of the concept, quality of the application and social media integration.
